It was a busy few days in our Madrid showroom during Madrid Design Festival, with a steady flow of visitors, conversations and meetings. One of the highlights was Chromatic Lab, where designers gathered to work hands-on with leather, colour and material samples.
Led by colour expert Judith van Vliet, founder of the Color Authority, the session focused on how colour is experienced in relation to material, light and context. Through practical exercises, participants tested combinations and explored how surface, texture and finish influence perception.
Judith shared insights on colour as an emotional driver in spatial design, the role of light in shaping colour, and how working physically with materials can support more confident decisions.
The event was a joint venture with Fidivi who supplied us with colourful fabric samples.
