Jaime Hayón, a celebrated designer known for his ability to merge art and design with a playful yet sophisticated aesthetic, has curated a selection of Elmo colours for the Vuelta armchair. Designed for the Austrian furniture brand Wittmann, the Vuelta chair is a statement piece, balancing timeless elegance with modern craftsmanship.
Hayón Studio selected three bespoke shades for the chair, inspired by their connection to nature and their ability to highlight the soft, tactile quality of the Elmosoft and Elmonubuck leathers. Each colour was chosen to elevate the chair’s sculptural form, complementing its inviting curves and contemporary design language.
The result is a thoughtful exploration of colour and material, showcasing how leather can bring depth and character to avant-garde furniture design.
These three unique Vuelta chairs will be on display at Elmo’s Madrid showroom during December, paying tribute to Hayón’s vision and his distinctive approach to design.
